Re: neoprene sock non-skid coating replacement?

You could try putting some Aguaseal on them. It cures to a rubber coating. It's about the only thing I know that might work.

Re: Confusion on Slingshot's 2019 line

I believe it would be the Ghost Whisper 91. It is not compatable with the HoverGlide. You would have to by the mast and fuselage as well. They are completely different from what I have seen. I'm not a foiler but know a lot of guys that are and most of them are either on the Moses or the Hoverglides...

These are what I use. I use poly urethane to hold them in place. I do make a channel from insert hole to insert hole to help hold them in a little better.

Re: Different Bar Widths - Explained

And I am sorry you are an idiot. You even argued against and disproved you own assertion while trying to prove it. Multi level stupid. It's a simple concept. Am I surprised many people and those at some brands can't grasp it? Not really anymore, we have Trump after all. Dude let go of the anger you...

Re: Different Bar Widths - Explained

He is right though a bigger bar does not make a kite turn faster. Is Ralf the idiot or are you? It is getting hard to tell at this point. Let me state a few simple FACTs. Turn speed relates to the AMOUNT of a rear line pulled, the more a rear line is pulled the faster a kite turns. A larger bar pul...

Re: Too Old?

Nah I'm about to be 40 and I still do it. Mind you I am out right now with a torn pec but that is from something else. I wake-board and ride wake-style all the time. It is more technical for sure but that just makes the rewards that much sweeter.

Re: Different Bar Widths - Explained

He is right though a bigger bar does not make a kite turn faster. Turning speed on a kite has more to do with kite design than bar width. More leverage just helps turn slower turning/bigger kites. I'm not a big fan of the adjustable bars. To me it's just something else that can break. All so when I ...

Re: Upgrading to a new board

Sorry but a board is not going to make you progress any faster. Time on the water and lots of practice. You want to learn faster then make sure to jump both directions. I only ride 140 and up it does not matter what the wind is. A light board does not have any advantage unless your doing board offs.

Re: Which is your preferred trim system?

Slingshot Guardian: Very few moving parts with cleat and thick bomb proof lines. Kept simple and easy to inspect. Except for the fact that there are common situations that can completely jam the safety. Can't believe SS is still selling it. I've never had mine jam either. The lines can twist so it ...
