Re: The lightest snappiest surfboard for overhead waves?

I do jump it and sometimes land it fairly hard. The jumping has cracked a rail of an older Celeritas and even buckled an older Slingy board. I do not want to hijack the thread, but do your cracks look like mine on the 2017 Angry Swallow https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/dR52xtBWXC3MZ3uSPeS_Bpxy1Uit...

Re: Rebel 2012 size 12 VS 13

I'm riding the Rebel 14 every year and do love/like it. Great kite for its size. Does anyone know about the low end difference of the Rebel 14 compared to the 13? I ride a surfboard or WAM 6.0 for the low wind days...

I might go for a 13 in the 2013 model...

Re: List of usable kitecams ! (?)

I recorded 1:20h with it yesterday and the battery seemed to last another 10-20 min. The file size has been appr. 6 GB. SHDC and it has no 2GB file size limitations. My MacOS does not have any, too. What I really like about the cam is that if it gets lost or destroyed I do not care for the loss of 1...

Re: List of usable kitecams ! (?)

I use the Kodak Playsport.

This is the second video I edited, I'm pretty happy with the result:

Re: North Evo 2010

I rode the 7 and 8 myself and a friend of mine talked to the designer. Don't think too much, try them.

Re: North Evo 2010

The 7 and 9 have a more wakestyle oriented design with more low end. I rode the 7 for 2 days some time ago and if I remember correctly, I'd say that I can hold my 8 as long as the 7. The 6 is a high-wind oriented kite with low profile. I'm pretty sure for your riding a 10, 8, 6 or Fuse 10, Evo 8, 6 ...

Re: North Evo 2010

The 8 is truelly a fantastic kite. I rode the 6 in hell-like conditions. Even windsurfer did not go out anymore. Probably up to 45 knots. No problems at all.

Re: North Vegas 2009 - 14 m ??

I brought mine back after 1 session. I did not like it at all. If you want a good 14 get the 2010 Vegas 14 or Rebel/Fuse 14.

Re: 2010 Rebel and Fuse

I have been a lot on the 2009 Rebel 14 and twice on the 2010 Rebel 14. The 2009 has been really good and there is little difference to the 2010, but truelly I can say both are probably the best low wind kites out there. It's probably physically impossible to make the 2010 any better! I rode last yea...
