Re: Trick Progression List

"Can you do a tack flip hooked in?" Yes you can. With kite a little lower, fully complete the first horizontal backroll so you are looking downwind and then throw a tucked backflip while holding onto the bar with your back hand , grab indy and land toeside. (You can boost this trick too if you wish ...

Re: Trick Progression List

Also add mult-spin inversions to the list like the "Tack Flip" but hooked in. That trick is my go to these days

Re: Weed now legal in South Africa

Kiter from Washington state here. I don't smoke myself, but weed legalization has been a positive in that 1) some of the tax money is going to education and 2) the police I know personally are happy to spend their time solving real crimes rather than doing the paperwork after arresting people for po...

Bend Oregon Kitesurfing/Snowkiting?

Thinking about moving to Bend, Oregon. I know the Coast and Gorge are about 3 hours away but are there any decent kiting/foiling locations on any of the lakes within a 60-90 minute drive? If so, how do you forecast? What about snowkiting there? I know in 2008 there was some great snowkiting to be ha...

Re: Kite company's are out of their minds

I feel a greater sense of confidence boosting 50 feet on newer gear compared to old gear that could have a bridle snap from up high or duri...

Re: Kite company's are out of their minds

Whatever happened to Shawn Richman?

IMO Shawn Richman was one of the most innovative kiters of all time with a unique, artistic and powerful style. Is he still kiting? The last video I saw was of him and Jesse throwing down at Squamish. Are there any more vids in the works?

Re: Officially announced: North becomes Duotone

Can we end this discussion already? I couldn’t care less about the brand name of a sporting goods company, as long as thier products are high performing and of high quality I’ll buy them. I own plenty of mountain bikes, surf boards, snowboards, etc etc with silly brand names. I’ve loved my Vegas and...
