Would love to buy a shaped blank and save some time, but have a friend who has foam left over, and our winter is long. So, I'll be doing it from scratch.

Re: mutant build

Looks really nice. Could you briefly describe the composition? Type of wood (ply how thick), rocker/concave, how you attached foot straps? Looking to make a woody for my regular riding. Something around 135x38-40cm. Would like it be able to handle chop better than my super stiff (old) twintip of aro...

Re: Please comment my poster!

Hi, A few things come to mind. 1. As mentioned before I too would focus more on your 'brand', your name or gusty.se and have it more dominant closer to the headline or part of it - 'Learn to kitesurf with Gusty.se' or something. If someone passes the poster and is not be that interested in kitesurfi...

Turn one-way valve into two-way (Takoon Nova2 2006)?

My Takoon Nova2 has a one pump system and I want to disable the one-way valves from LE to the struts. Has anyone does this? Do you drill them out or can you buy two-way valves to replace them. The valves going into the bladders and from the LE are standard valves that used to be most kites back in t...

Re: new kite surfer, looking for advice

i just wanted to be sure the measurements of the kite and board are ok with my weight(65kg) and my wind range of (10-15knots). FYI - can't comment on the pull of the Rally (Open Delta C) compared to my Takoon Nova2 from 2006, but I weigh 65-68kg and find my 12m perfect for our conditions 10-16kts. ...

Re: Why are pump bases flat?

His only pumps on the downstroke and he says he loves it. Good point. My back doesn't like the compressions of the upstroke. Has anyone pulled apart a cheapo standard pump and seen if it is easy to disable the upstroke pump action? Yes... it is very easy to do. First, unscrew the top of the pump an...
