Re: Concept'air new Pulsion kite

There was no wind, i tried the 12m When you write there was no wind does that simply mean that you could not have gone out ? Looking at your gear you have listed 11 sqm as your biggest kite. Is that correct and a raceboard ? So how much wind would you estimate there was ? In your opinion would an e...

Re: How to launch the kite?

Imagine ; if the kite would loop and drag you on the beach ! Which side would be the one that's the most dangerous, water or rocks, road, people etc...o sometimes though you wont have any choice depending on the beach configuration, wind side etc... If you are not sure, spot some locals that know th...

Re: 2014 Airush Sector V5 vs 2014 Cabrinha

I'm thinking on purchase a V6 sector 54 as a low wind (12 to 14 knots) directional board ( I weight 72 Kg) but this year board say it's 24.4 L (54 x 168) . I had a Sector 54 V3 and that board was 54 x 172 I don't remember the board say the volume But for me the 54 V3 had pretty much volume than 24....

Re: Drysuit help please

Why a drysuit, i have had the lucifer, the mystic, the bare and the soul. Favorite was the soul. Now i use a xcel drylock 5/4 and use it until the water turns into ice. It floats a lot better, dont have to worry about how many layers to put under, if you ever wind up in trouble..... try swimming wit...

Re: Core Sensor 2 (or Pro) Bar - is it a durable bar (grips etc.)??? Any issues with it?

Actually, i ride all my kite 7-9-11 with the same sensor bar, except the lw one which i rode with another bar which had extensions. Never had a single issue. The bar is on its third year and I do kite very often. Only thing I replaced was the depower line, usual wear. This year I will replace the 4 ...

Re: light wind kite quest 2016

It takes quite a bit of time to perform in light wind. When i started I bought a 15 m speed 3 and was expecting to ride in 9 or 10 knots with a big door 165. I was about 160 pounds. You know what, people with 13 m with experience were doing a lot better than me. Since that time i've had many lw kite...

Please keep this on topic if possible. It's great he'll be ok and GREAT to have riders alongside you ready to save your life if necessary. While he has insurance through his employer he will be responsible for paying deductibles, paying what his insurer does not pay when he reaches his payout ceili...

Re: Shinn Monk or a Crazyfly Shox?

Monk all the way, better upwind, a lot more pop, a lot smoother in the chop. Most of all a lot more edge in high wind. The shox aint a bad board but it isnt in the same league as the monk. I've used both and the Monk forever is the best chop eater I have owned so far.
