hi i have two x2-bars and i never had a problem with the chickenloop-quickrelease. the thing i do is always check them if they are right connected, pull the tube down...or make some red tape at the ends of the chickenloop and if it is not covered by the neopren thing your should check the hole syste...

don´t use a board which is too long...
my girlfriend uses a underground wt 141 and rocks like hell with it. myself (about 70kg) i use a carved 141 popper medium flex (german custum brand).
we use our boards in light winds as well...
