couple shots of the board finished.
the bottom is painted with a color shifting paint sort of shows in the picture.
Shifts from white to blue/silver.

JandoF My board is almost done just need to spray clear coat on it. waiting for pads and fins ..slow mail :) As for the concave in your board , I used my rocker table to do both at once. if you look back at my pictures of the vacuum process you can see my rocker table with the bolts every 6 inches f...

Minor update ...been busy with other stuff. So i had thought about my reinforcements inside the board for support for fins,straps,and handle. I came up with the idea of using 1" cut cedar plugs placed where bolts would go and adding support between the skins of the board. Will drill into these later...

the way i set it up on the building table to apply bottom strips i lost none of the rocker.

as it sits right now

5.7 cm of rocker either end.
17mm of concave
150 cm long
40 cm wide.
Be a little slow with build today need to figure out reinforcement for fins,straps,handle.

just a small update.
bottom of the board finished outline of shape and board flipped to start top.

Laughingman The strips are bead and cove (canoe cut) so they interlock on edge just need to hold down the edges to keep everything in contact. 81 is to far off I'm 51 so 30 years short of that :) sorry crappy pictures my camera hates close ups :) 23.JPG 24.JPG 25.JPG 1.JPG for ribs just cut halfway ...

heres a good link on pretty much everything for epoxy.

there small manual for vacuum bagging is pretty good straight forward.
just scroll down the page to Advanced Techniques and download there vacuum manual.
