How do I remove a leaky valve?

My airtime stick-on valve is leaking so I bought some new ones and am trying to remove the old leaky stick-on valve and it's kickin' my arse. I read online to either dip it in hot water or use a blow dryer on it and it will come off. I've done both and have only been able to pry a small corner and I...

I had what seems to be this same problem. I bought some new ones and am trying to remove the old leaky stick-on valve and it's kickin' my arse. I read online to either dip it in hot water or use a blow dryer on it and it will come off. I've done both and have only been able to pry a small corner and...

Re: Cabarete.... what a Dump!

I've been to both but only surfed in PR. If you do not want to, or are just not good enough to, ride waves over reefs where do you recommend going kiting in PR?

removing valves on a 2009 RPM

I've got a slow leak. I'm going to investigate however I'm thinking it may be a leaky valve. This'll be my first DIY fix on my kite. I've seen the videos online on how to apply the sticky valves however I can't find anything about how to remove the old ones. Is this because they are heat welded or s...

Re: Where to hook safety leash when riding unhooked?

I have a slingshot RPM 09 model and I do not know where the best place is to attach the safety leash if I want to try to ride unhooked. Anyone with this particular year slingshot bar have any advice? It would be much appreciated! Doesn't your model has an unhooked riding stainless steel loop, it's ...

Re: Where to hook safety leash when riding unhooked?

I have the 09. I used to ride "suicide" but recently changed it up. Try clipping your leash to the metal ring on the single line safety, then also connecting the leash to the CL. If the CL release is pulled, the leash will slide off and still be attached to the safety line. Best of both worlds: you...
