Re: Ride Engine 2018 Harnesses

Hello, I'm the designer of the "sliding hook system" called DYNABAR and tonight I found the POACHER post and the Coleman review on Mystic Majestic X. I consider it "professionally naive" and "humanly presumptuous" and i decided to write few "facts" about it. In 2015 we wrote him an email asking not ...

Re: Testing Hard shell harnesses. Any Questions?

What about if you have lumbar lordosis or hyper lordosis. Would hard shell help? Some thought about traction forces the kite pull transmit to harness, it will help to better understand how rigid harnesses work. The pull on the hook pulls up and twists the spreaderbar creating pain 1 to the front ri...

Half fake news: rigid back harness doesn't ride up...

If you use a sliding hook system. The sliding hook doesn't allow the harness to turn when there is side pull eliminating the uncoarc effect pull-turn.

Re: Don't show us your hook

12049333.jpg Righto. I'm ready with low friction ring and shortened chicken loop. What royal pain in the arse shortening the chicken loop. Here we are, test done and works great. The CL tube is hold by the ring groove shape and doesn't exit if pull power is lost. As you can see without shortening t...

Re: Jay XTC Flextech 2.0 harness

12049333.jpg Low friction ring and shorter chicken loop installed. Now I need to try! We are not sure reducing CL length and save 2-3cm it's worth, by using a different QR attachment saves more centimeters and is more simple. About rings, we decided to respond to demand of "low friction sliding rin...

Fitting up the large strop and moved the25mm strops forward and problem fixed.
The JAY xtc harness design is unique and the flexibility is great for users and resellers.
Your experience should show to forum audience the advantages of such a design.

Re: Jay XTC Flextech 2.0 harness

So I took a punt and order the new Jay harness, Second session today. 15-40 knots on the 8m. Harness works well and doesn't give the normal rib squeeze when super over powered. Had a little bit of discomfort in the back. But it was pretty crazy conditions. First time on a sliding rope. Feels a bit ...

Re: Jay 2017 Game Changer

Well, lets start with that horrid "sliding ring". The pulley portion has a gap that the rope can easily slip into and bind up causing a broken pulley and potentially a broken rope. Next, why a sliding leash? You don't want your leash to slide, you always want the release in precisely the same locat...

The DYNABAR XTC V9 is alive. Check it here . DYNABAR XC V9 carbonfiber composite is the answer to kiters who love body freedom given by our exclusive sliding hook solution but require light equipment. Thermoformed EVA pad doesn't absorbe water and the weight difference between dry and wet product is...

Re: Rideengine and which spreader bar

Nope! It's not common sense when you don't even know what something or how something works. I never learned about it. So therefore, I didn't do it. And that's what happens when someone is uneducated about something, they don't do it. And common sense should tell you that. But now I've learned about...
