first class review, love reading your posts as you are one of a few pioneers out there. I know I and alot of others rely on the info you provide for snowkiters.
Bille sorry for the attitude but up here you can be having your best session ever one minute and the next moment you are dealing with a 250 degree window with lots of power at the edge and your kite will not stall back without lofting you backwards. The pros love every minute of it and do some massiv...
Bille,
It's snowkiting in the Rockies where wind and terrain is constantly changing and you want to go downwind and uphill but your kite wants to fly upwind and downhill, sometimes very steep downhill. get the picture now?
I say no when my kite wants to fly upwind into outer space and I'm on a small shelf at 13,000ft., a real eye opener and new found respect for the power of thermals.
nickerzip,
that 17mtr Co2 makes huge power even in light winds,25mph could hurt you with that kite. I have a 5mtr Co2 that has given me a good spanking in 25 mph resulting in a dislocated shoulder. Be careful as you are starting with a high performance kite from the past.
