THANKS for the advice. the guy lived a few blocks from me so I decided to take a look at it and it was JUNK. the 17m and 9m were in mint condition but the 12m was RAVAGED majorly. so I said screw it.

FYI: I'm a beginner, I have taken lessons and have a trainer kite. I live in Alameda, Ca which usually has wind ranging from 12 to 20 ...
