It's starting to sound like a 2nd board as opposed to an only board for me. I'm 80kg and live hours from the coast ... so I tend to head out to ride on the good forecasts. My 12m and 8m Toro's get the most action. Last time out I rode the 8m all day long in upper 20's gusting into the low 30's. I've...

Yes I've talked with Hunter about the boards. Haven't made it out there yet to check one out.

Still very interested in hearing from current/previous owners on board durability.

Wondering about this board. Hoping to get a chance to demo the 147 one of these days. Seems like they get a lot of good reviews. For those of you riding them, are you happy with them? How durable/strong is the construction? I'm assuming there's no warranty where it is a custom. Any broken ones out t...

I've been using a Dakine Tabu waist for the last while and find it is perfect. Super comfy fior long periods on the water and seems pretty well constructed. Also upgraded with the spreader bar pad.

Let me first give a reference point ... I've been kiting about 12-15 times. No problem staying/going upwind when powered. Very comfortable on the water, starting to jump some. I got the 8m and 12m Toro's as replacements to 7.5m and 11.5m AR5's. They both came with 52cm (21") rodeo bars. Just picked ...

I too weigh 78kg and ride the TT-142.
This is the only board I ride.
Ride it with Toro 8m, 12m and AR5 15.5m.
It is a very friendly board. Edges great.
I also have a TT-174 but have not ridden it since getting the 142. I just do downwinders when it is light.

How about "won't snap like a production board" ???
I've seen way too many customs snapped under or near the bindings. This is something I can't afford. Any snapped WT's? If not, what separates the Underground WT construction from other customs?

Thanks Dwight
