Hi . i have found quads to give a more snappy turn than the thruster. This is particularly noticeable when speed has been drained through a long bottom turn for exempole. The thruster seems to have a more "carve" feel giving the impression of more drive on bigger faces. Rocker and scoop of the boar...

liquid force HIFI windrange ?

hi! for those lucky guys who already flies them... what's the wind range for hifis 7 + 9 ? It's for a 2 kites quiver: 12 + ... can't make up my mind... I'm 65kgs, my smallest board = 130*39. biggest 5'8 surf directionnal. I mainly jump with the kite low, do passes and stuff like that I change my 200...

Thanks for review. Quick question, why do you suggest leaving the strut hose clamps unclipped? Thanks. Rorke 'cause deflating is super easy that way! I used to pack my previous kites with the struts inflated, but since I have my havoc, I always pack it completely ( more space in the van now! :thumb...

I own a 10 m havoc 2008. the kite is well built. I smashed it hard on land ( with nutshells ) a couple of times: not a single scratch. It's only 5 weeks since I got it, but it seems to be very durable ( I crash my kite all the time on the water) the two criteria when choosing a kite for me are: rela...

I recently bought those LF luxury pads: they work great: I was expecting some "chewy" feeling, but they are quite rigid, direct in the feeling of the board ( a good balance ) then, it also absorbs loads of impact when landing like a pig ( like me! ) hard landings are smoother for knees and an...

I want to have the best of two worlds ! I want to keep the initial setting ( its tolerance, turning speed, stability is just perfect for wakestyle riding ), but with the possibility to making it turn faster and go faster to the other side of the wind window for waves. I think about 22m for the lines...

rigging / tuning LF HAVOC 2008

hello! I've just had my new 2008 havoc 10. I flew it once, it works great. I like the way it flies, but I'd like to tune it to my needs. I start to think about the different rigging possibilities for this kite... how can I make it turn more slowly or faster ? there's no fast + slow back lines connec...

you need to dry it the best you can. the 'ding' looks big, and you'll need to put fiberglass ( if you don't have epoxy yet, you can do it with polyester resin if the core is made of polyurethan foam = clark foam like. be careful, if it's made of polystiren, it's not compatible with polyester resin. ...

tried the 10m in crap wind today ( 10-15 knts with my 5'8 home made surfkite directionnal ). I only tied it in waves, no freestyle. Very light bar pressure ( very easy to unkook ), and a lot of power, as compared to the size . I nearly felt the power of a 12m, and managed to go upwind very easily. T...
