Re: Snowkiting - are people losing interest?

I have very little input on the number of kiters dropping off. For the last seven years I have never run into another kiter on my local frozen 32 mile lake. The question should be asked is why don't more people want to start up kiting? I meet lots of people that are interested but routinely fail to ...

Re: The Heart of Winter

You are lucky and fortunate to have those wonderful conditions. Enjoy every second you have with boards on your feet and a kite in the air. The lakes in the east are just starting to get themselves in ok( use those letters sparingly) shape. Here is hoping the Adirondacks can get in some better condi...

Re: recommendations on ice screws

Spend a little more take get a screw with a rotating handle. A lot easier to deal with in the cold.

2014 Ozone Frenzy reviews?

I have been kiting with HQ for six years and would like to update the quiver. Any honest reviews of the Ozone Frenzy? Any concerns with the low end of the wind speed required for this kite?

Looking for opinions on the Ozone Frenzy 2014

I am looking to add to the quiver with a 11m ozone frenzy
I heard a few opinions that the kite needs a lot of attention %100 of the time. Do you need to keep it moving at all times? Does it require more than usually amount of wind to keep it up in the air?
Any other thoughts are appreciated.

Re: Good first kite size for a 2-kite quiver

I know we all have different snow conditions , weights and ability but the 9m seems to be a great size especially when you only have one kite in the quiver. I started with Hq and built up to three different sizes in the quiver. Now I am also thinking of purchasing a frenzy and was wondering if the 2...

Re: HQ Powerkites in Norway with 2014 kites + Video

why is it so difficult to find a HQ dealer? I like the look of the Montana 8 but cannot find someone that actually sells them. Are they not out yet?
