Re: Hindenburg

I doesn't have to be strutless. But do consider a lower aspect kite that does not go so close to the edge of the window. A super high aspect kite can find itself out of the window with just a change in direction. Also a lighter kite will drift better and less likely to fall. Would also consider one ...

Re: Supplements/food to prevent knee/hip arthritis and keep joints lubricated?

Positive reports from Ketogenic and Vegan diets, almost polar opposites that have 2 thing in common: 1) You will drop 10 pounds (probably the most important thing) 2) You will hunger for a hamburger with both the meat and bun so bad your knees and back won't seem so important. I have also noticed gr...

Re: Need help identifying thrift store Quadrifoil

Kite probably older than Kiteforum. Doubt it's worth the hassle unless you have a masochistic interest in tuning bridles of old kites. Traction kites have come a long way.

Re: Stem Cell therapy works

http://time.com/4703909/stem-cell-treatment-lose-vision/ I love to hear a success story and I do really believe stem cell and regenerative medicine hold a lot of promise. However I would compare stem cell today to early aviation in the 1920s. There were winners but casualties as well. Hopefully the ...

Re: Flysurfer sonic Race

Racers want to win. Still have a great kite if its a year old. I'm glad the 3 gallery concept of Speed 4 Deluxe is back and my guess is the development is more challenging that we know considering they did not scale up the Speed 4 Deluxe.

I'd like to see a Psycho5 myself.

Re: LE Stiffeners

Possibly the plastic filament for a 3d printer or a weed whacker? Could attach with AquaSeal or ripstop tape. I would be curious to know how it works out for you.

Re: flysurfer 12m speed lotus - Repair help almost broken stearing line

Looks to me like the tail is coming out of the splice in the images shown. Wear from crossed lines should occur about 10 meters south of the area you show in the photograph. Is it your only kite and bar? Easiest to use a second bar to finish the vacation. Jorwis suggestion is reasonable but beware: ...
