Re: Don't buy a Core kite before you read this!

Flysurfer has the right idea with pulley lines. They include a set with the kite and make it known they are a wear out part. Ozone and FS include some of the through the bar wear out lines with new kit. Maybe other manufacturer does not include. Pulley lines and through the bar lines wear out. It st...

Re: Gear that has exceeded your expectations!

Wonder if kites and gear that don't show up on second hand boards are a good indicator they are kept and loved?

My valves never come off. Can leave the kites in the car on a hot summers day, no worries.
LOL. I wonder if temperature cycling in a car contributes to shrink in bridles and lines.

Re: flying foot switch - advice needed

Today I nailed 10 in a row! (Guaranteed to fall the next 50 times after boasting) One other thing that is helping me is doing the footswitch when my hips can face the front of the board so there is less change in the kite. Its heading a little more down wind than I was before but not so much the lin...

Re: Tips for learning to ride toeside

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNuI_qeDDkE I like these tutorials. I think the touchdown carve to toe is a good step because it is so easy to slack the lines flying. I'm not sure I could waterstart into toeside as suggested earlier but going from water to foiling toeside is in reach. I like to use ...

Re: How do I get traction on the surface of my Alaia?

A friend has HexaTraction and is reasonable. I'm using wax. I might change as I'm tired of the mess and the wear-out. Wax feels better when its perfect, but its almost never perfect especially kiting.

Hyperlink is pretty rad in that way. Very nice drift even hydrofoilong down wind in to it.

Funny though Nash556 got talked out of a Pansh because someone suggested he might have to adjust their bridles. Adjusting bridles is a fact of life with foils, all brands need it at some point.
You can’t polish a turd.
