Re: Liquid Force Elite foil

Is there a difference between 2018 and 2016 Elite foils? Any reviews of the kite after long term use?

Re: How much are old kites holding me back?!

Modern kites are shiny Cayennes and not only girls but also guys dig it. Safer, faster, predictable :) My earliest Flysurfers were RookieII and Cool. About Voodoo period in history. Folks were still arguing back then that fixed-bridle on handles are superior. Holy crap all those could deliver some ...

Our hottest spot is for winsurfers only!

I wonder what devices/apps submit the data?

Huh,

I'm also very happy with my Sonic v1 9m, paid about 360 Euros, no bar, so can't complain:) If only I could find 11m in here...
Thats a very nice price on a Sonic. I would guess this A9 is about as opposite a Sonic as you could get.

Re: pansh a15 in 9m

New kite landed today. I had enough daylight for a short static flight on land. Standard lines on a 2016 Ozone bar (20m?) The wind was 12 knots recorded. Gusts to 14 by my estimate. Ultralight is 1801 grams. The bridle is very long and fiddly. Its not a big deal but may put off somebody who is not d...

Re: How much are old kites holding me back?!

The question is about of same essence as "how much different would be a new Porsche if I upgrade from old VW Beetle" Well, maybe not as much but still...:) So I'd compare it to choosing between an old Porsche 944 and a Hyundai Accent just a few years old. Unless you really enjoy the soul of an old ...

Re: Can I use 2015-2017 Ozone Contact Water Control Bar with Naish kites

It will work with no pigtail needed for front and back lines. Both use a loop on the center line of the bar and a knot on the rear. Ozone sometimes puts a stopper on the front line safety to keep the bar from moving far away after a release. Make sure the stopper is far enough to fully flag the kite.

Re: fuselage fabrication

Can somebody please clarify this "galvanic corrosion" idea that I hear over and over again? For any current to flow there has to be a potential, and what is the source of this potential? Is it coming out from nowhere, defying the law of conservation of energy? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galvanic...

Re: Gin Shaman for light wind hydrofoiling?

Does the Shaman have some kind of drain or dirt out in the tip cells? It looks like the design would be likely to hold some water if it did get in the cells. In such light wind is better to fly a kite that will stay out of the water and also to prepare for the eventual swim. Im interested in this pr...

Re: How to jump on Sonic? Or any foil?

Harder to feel the stall point on a foil kite. If you can memorize where it is you could use your bar as is.

Pigtails on the rear lines may be an option.
