Canada - Montreal to Prince Edward County on Lake Ontario

We plan on heading north to Montreal and then over to Prince Edward county on Lake Ontario. What are the major kite spots that could work out mid to end of August? I have the most hope for Lake Ontario / Sandbanks Provincial Park. But the only kite school there seems to have stopped due to difficult...

Re: New 13m c hybrid kite

The Eleveight FS comes to mind. Give it a shot. I like them better than the more attention getting RS.

Re: Duotone Kite Bag Zipper issues

Who makes Duotone zippers? YKK is the market leader, but there are others. Maybe they simply need to change the supplier.

Re: Duotone Kite Bag Zipper issues

Well, I was not looking for suggestions for replacement bags. I have a bunch. It is just upsetting that the Duotone bag zippers fail way faster than any other brands. I treat them all the same. I ride a lot too. Core bags have lasted me very well for example. I currently use my old Core Section bags...

Re: Naish Pivot S26... lacking low end power?

@Regis-de-giens Yes, you are correct. I moved the bridal larks head to the knot closer to the LE. Moved from the standard how it came to the one closer to LE.

Re: Naish Pivot S26... lacking low end power?

From my experience the settings work like described by Ewan. The inner knot pulls the kite together a bit and gives it a bit more C-Shape. The kite moves further in front of the wind window and bar pressure is a bit less. That is the high wind set up. I prefer this as general set up and only use th...

Re: Garmin app to measure jump height

Good to hear about the development of another Kite Jump app. I will give it a shot at one point. Just want to point out that we can use Kite GPS by Woo Sports if we only have the simple need to track the session without need of jump height. It will display speed metrics like speed live, max speed an...

Glad to hear it went down as it did. I admire Robby even more after this very open talk in this podcast.
