Re: Airush Lift Kite Version 3

Can you explain Better this part? Always thinked 40 knox are 40 knox I did not believe it until I tested it, but it's true. Temperature and humidity makes a massive difference. I always wondered why the anemometers so accurately measure the wind speed but not the wind power, as it's just force of t...

Re: Airush Lift Kite Version 3

I wonder if you have any information about wind range. I'm thinking a combination of 10-8qm. Maybe you know wind range of 9qm. Iam 80kg and for wind 15-40knots Ooof, you know wind ranges and numbers - its a hard one to answer - I remember taking a 11m in 40 knots in Egypt where the wind was hot and...

Re: Airush Lift Kite Version 3

Some Airush bars - Older and new Ride bars - have two load lines and a safety line next to it - but they are 4 flying lines.. the Unit bars only have one line through the centre - I choose to ride with multiple lines for a specific reason... :D For now, dacron yes - they are sensible money... hahaha...

Re: Airush Lift Kite Version 3

This kite has been a long time in the making - we saw hints at the AWSI last year, I've been riding a 9m sample since nov, and the first production just cleared the factory 10 days ago. It's totally different to anything they have done before. Clearly Jason has been a lot of input and as you can ima...

why isn't it yellow??? the promo shows the entire yellow
You are not the first person to ask, ha ha.
It seems that yellow dacron was the most popular dacron in history and they had to change the first few production runs to a blue leading edge.

Re: Eleveight Introduces the new light RS+

That is a really interesting read. As far as I know, when Airush and Challenge Sailcloth introduced Ho’okipa at AWSI in 2021 it was the first application of a woven Dyneema leading edge. Both North and Elevate introduced their fabrics in 2022. So, it would have been unique at the time, I don’t belie...

Re: Airush Session - share experiences and ask questions

Interesting that Airush and Eleveight have been avoiding the laminated fabrics (e.g. Aluula and Penta TX) to go for the woven fabrics instead. Wish they could have been more candid about the problems they had seen when testing. Someone reminded me - Penta TX is a woven polyester like dacron or cano...

Interesting that Airush and Eleveight have been avoiding the laminated fabrics (e.g. Aluula and Penta TX) to go for the woven fabrics instead. Wish they could have been more candid about the problems they had seen when testing. There are numerous physical reasons, but in respect to others that have...

Re: Airush Session - share experiences and ask questions

Hi All, I also was looking forward to the session team.. I have been following the development and production schedules but they didn't make it to the finish line - having talked to them this week it and it looks like we will not see production of the Session Teams till Q2 of next year, as with the ...

Re: Eleveight Introduces the new light RS+

This looks very similar to the Hookipa Material from Airush/Challenge. Ultra PE rings a bell. "Developed in partnership with Challenge Sailcloth, the Ho’okipa Ultra PE leading edge and strut composite material is 25% lighter and 10x stronger than traditional fabrics. This allows for 50% higher press...
