I used to break my eardrums a lot, now I use doc pro plugs. They are the best cheap ones you can get. Try them if they fit you, then you are gold. If they don't fit keep looking for ones that do.

I'm not sure what the eventually signal we will use to "abort launch" will be. I do know that right now we are consensus building. If it turns out we can all agree on one signal that would be awesome and maybe it would spread and become a standard. I appreciate all the ideas and no matter what happe...

easy: tap the head and since you should have one hand on the Quick Release at launch and landing, immediately activate it with the other hand and walk towards your kite. Safe as can be. While you are raising your arm to your head your thumb will be attached to your hand and before the hand hits you...

Good ones guys. Drop the bar and walk towards the helper, it's an unmistakable signal. Don't ask me why I couldn't think of this myself.

Thumbs up means launch, tap the head means land, but what is the international signal for abort the launch, something is wrong?
