Re: Switch Lineup

Yes, I think the new 7m-12m Helium 3 is essentially a refined and lightened evolution of the Element 5. Both have a similar aspect ratio but the helium is flatter giving a higher projected area per size which I think is a good thing for foil/wave. How does a flatter shape affect turning speed and p...

I've snapped plenty of bridles, I would give those about 6 more months before they snap if you ride 2-3 times a week, but you never know. The only way to know for sure ...

I made my own leash from an eyebolt, wood block, carabiner, 5mm dyneema, but tend to use regular leashes more. If you have a friend who buys new kites with control bars and resells th...

Re: Boosting only one way

It takes time to learn how to do tricks switch. Keep with it and you'll figure it out. It sometimes helps to take video so you can pinpoint what the problem is. I always learn my tricks both ways. It gives you something to do on a light wind day. When it's nuking I don't like trying new stuff.

biggest regret purchase

What's your biggest regret in buying? I'm thinking of all the cold weather neoprene stuff I've bought, I always found a use for it, spring hat, fall hat winter neoprene hats, gloves. There is one Pansh that never flew right for me (I have a 19 aurora (great) and a 10 aurora (trash)), but it was so c...

Re: Researching kiteboarding locations

First off I am 45 years old and have not spent one day in the water with a kite. I have always wanted to learn just never had the time and or finances. I am in a unique situation in that I live in Denver Denver? You should be snowkiting right now! Get it while it lasts. Easiest way to learn how to ...
