Mast compatibility

So I know most of the base plates are 90mm and if you have a track system you can swap the entire foil kit, mast, fuselage and wings over from one board to a different board. But today I heard that the Naish and Liquid Force masts are also compatible. I find this a little hard to believe, as the mas...

Re: Do you disassemble your foilboard after each use?

Yes. Pack down every time why? Takes up less space. I also have several wing sets and am never sure which wing I want to fly on a given day until I'm on site.

Re: Trick Progression List

decide on what your goal is and then your progression list will come naturally. Go look at videos of sick riders, find an amazing trick that is way out of your range then go back to the basics and progress a step at a time towards it.

Re: 30.4m Jump on Woo? Now 30.7m!!

Of course pros use the woo. check out the leaderboard lol. Remember it's a toy, have fun. Personally I hate the woo, cause I don't like how it creates metrics about how much fun I'm supposed to have, but why would I shit on someone else's parade. If you like the woo go for it. For me tho, it's the s...

Re: Self Landing Foilkites in 20+kts

I'm fine with tube kiters landing my foil. Kiters know the most important thing is to NOT LET GO. They might grab it in the wrong place but ok fine as long as they keep holding it you will be able to land. Of course you can't land it with total strangers that aren't kiters because they will grab you...

Re: Where did stopper balls go?

You need a stopper to do any variation deadman, or any kind of move where you do a board off and pass the board around your body. You can also use the stopper to play air guitar, point both your fingers into a gun shape and do a double handed air gun while you go "Pow pow pow" with your mouth, and s...

Re: Adding a rope to the Rideengine harness with hook

The idea is to have both on the same harness. It you tt in high winds the hook is more comfortable. When kitesurfing the rope is definitely a plus, Hydrofoil .. I’m just starting can’t say. But by having both ... its seems like an idea to explore, boubou it literally takes me 5 seconds to switch fr...

Re: Where did stopper balls go?

stopper balls never worked right they always tend to slip down the bar and leave you 100% powered up when you least expect it. I mean maybe they work ok when brand new but after a few sessions they quit gripping properly. throw length is now done on modern bars with an adjustable loop cleat, not sto...

Re: Adding a rope to the Rideengine harness with hook

I have the Ridengine harness with the rope and some time I would prefer a hook. I’m tenting to add a rope to the engine hook and ride it that way. Is there anybody that tried it. This would be the best of both world on one harness. Ride Engine sells the spreader hook separately, about $40 or so.

Re: Self Landing Foilkites in 20+kts

can you not walk up the back lines once its down and not anchor it? oh sure of course. The problem is what happens when it's nuking. I'll do that up to I dunno, 20-25 knots but what if it's blowing 30-40? You lose your grip for a second and you can get your hands cut up pretty bad. Like I said befo...
