Re: Snowkite Masters, Skyline Utah, Feb 3-5 2012

The Snowkite Masters is less than a week away, and the snow is looking awesome! It's been snowing on the mountain the last 2 days, I am heading up this afternoon and will have fresh pics of the snow. I can't wait to see all my Snowkite friends, it's been too long. Heather Schenck 435-462-5303 www.sn...

Re: Road-Tripping Snowkiters

Thanks Noah. Your stoke is, has been, and always will be contagious. Living vicariously and occasionally with you, on or off the road. You do live in a great spot. All of us amongst the Rockies and the Divide of the Continental do, but somehow you are always central to the deepest pow and strongest ...

Re: Ozone 2012 Access vs. Frenzy

With the Y-line, if the kite is powered up after pulling the top hat or brakes... pull in on an outside line to flag out the kite. Tie the line off or walk up the line to the kite. Its even possible to pull the kite to you if its deeper snow. The cross bridle on the 2011/2012 Frenzy prevented the op...

Thanks for the pic Tommy, love the San Juans and looking forward to returning this winter. Glad to hear & see you have snow. We could definitely use some more in Utah.

Re: Ozone 2012 Access vs. Frenzy

The 6 and 8 meter Access kites are proven storm worthy wings. For many years the 6 was the go to kite for many Ozone Team riders that spent their time in the mountains. The design has not changed on the Access in a couple of seasons, so I would recommend looking for a 2010 or 2011 model with the sim...

Re: Early December Kite Trip out West-Advice on CO UT MT WY

This forum is the best snotel for Skyline with riders posting reports. An average of 6 inches right now, cold temps dried the snow out, and its not a packed or solid base yet. Needs a couple of feet still, at least 2 storms away from being ridable at Skyline.

Re: This Week at the Big Horns...Amazing Early Conditions!

Sick video Pascal. Can't believe it's so early in the season with such freshies. Wyoming has always been on the snowkiters ticklist, and the Biggies seem to deliver the best early season sessions. Wishing I was there...
