I plan to use the 7 Rebel exactly when the „semi-proffesional“ kiters go boosting 20 Meter plus with their 9m.
why don't you go for 8-11 instead? you can save some bucks and go lit when conditions are right!

(at 85kg I'd go for 9-12 for the same reason and get a 7 for +35kt)

ION Fuse Lightweight Drysuit FZ 2021

Has anyone already tried this drysuit? https://webmiddleware.boards-and-more.com/storage/48212-4401/medium/48212-4401_Fuse_Lightweight_Drysuit_BZ_02_darkolive_red_black_back.png This is the new lightweight waterproof and breathable material from ION apparently. Re: Eleveight FS 2020

How did you find the bridle settings affect to the flying characteristics? especially in terms of pop/slack? I've tried that pivot-setting once, but didn't like the feel at all, felt that I lost too much back line tension. That pulley test sounds interesting :D so, did you left the rest of the brid...

Re: Eleveight FS 2020

I got to try the new 2020 FS 9m this week here in Tarifa and man this thing really elevates you! Rock solid construction (I always pump my kites around 8-9psi) which can handle 25-30kt gusts and I really like the different settings for the bridle. For me the "Pivot" mode was the sweet spot with the ...

Re: RRD obsession 2015 compatible with global V7 bar?

How do you adjust the bar length? [/quote] unscrew the rubber bar ends and with a bit of force it should come off then you just have to measure it to the right length and cut it down with a hand saw (it's aluminum) then put the ends back (glue, screws) I cut off about 5-5cm both ends. Hope it helps!

Re: Eleveight kites

Here is the low friction insert. And the bar :D how is the bar hole fitting the top of the QR? because on their previous designs (Best Red/Black bar) it was painful to hook back in if the CL was not perfectly aligned (also because the top part of the QR rotates) and had a lot of friction on the dep...

Re: RRD obsession 2015 compatible with global V7 bar?

their latest bar have a low V design, and the previous ones had a higher split point (around 4-5m), which makes the whole kite feel a bit more direct (low V) and a bit more slack on the back lines (better for freestyle) but you might want to shorten the front pigtails (or put an extra few cm on the ...
