Re: Where to Kite in Oahu?

Thanks for the advice - would I be better off bringing something smaller - a 5 or a 7? Not sure I'm going to be able to get more than one kite in...

Re: Where to Kite in Oahu?

Hi, I'm spending December in Oahu - first good holiday for a while, so going for the whole month! Is there likely to be much kiteable wind at that time of year? We will be loaded up with surf boards so might be able to negotaite space with the family for one kite. My largest is a 10 - is it worth br...

Re: bws noise 10m or 12m??? to be or not to be

One thing to add is that the new noise has just been released - and is supposed to have lower bar presure. I have the old 10 (and a 5) and the turning speed of the 10 is actually reasonably good for a 10. However it is a very stable kite, which in my experience means the kite needs quite a big bar i...

Re: Kite Doctor in Cape Town

2nd that. Paul's repairs are the strongest part of the kite, practically invisible and a great price. should be 1st choice for sure.

Re: Kiting surfboard for a big guy?

see if you can get xcelereator in Cape Town to make you one. Really strong construction - has lasted me longer than any prevous board has. Barely a ding after more than a year - and its been through rocks frequently and gets jumped plenty. Comes with a year guarentee against breakage if i remember c...

Re: Winter Waves and kiting

If you are in London - then Cape Town makes a lot of sense, quick overnight flight and no jet lag. Wind will be pretty consistent those months and costs are generally not too bad. Theres plenty of alternative wave spots around cape town than big bay which will generally be less crowded and often bet...

Re: BWS Noise ? why so deep silence ?

Hi All, I've got the BWS noise 10m - had it for about 5 months now. Got it on the test team deal - took the risk, paid the money. the rest of my quiver is Ozone C4s and older slingshot rev IIs. I thought the noise might be similar to the rev IIs given the apparent design similarity - plus with ben c...
