Re: Epic Oxygen vs Spleene Session

I agree flex is a huge factor in lightwind boards. I tried 2006 (really stiff), owned 2007 (still pretty stiff) and now have a 2008 spleene session for a few years. Compared to the 2007 the 2008 is thinner and has much more flex making carving waves more fun and improves pop for jumping, also less p...

Re: naish charger

Well it has been totally re-engineered for 2011 so maybe the design needed a few tweaks....i had fun on my 9m and had no issues with it but i saw some strange things happen to other kiters Chargers in high/gusty wind. I own a 5m and a 7m too. Had the 7m out in really gusty conditions and i also not...

Re: wind range for 2010 Naish Charger 5M , 7M

I also bought a 5m and 7m. You can buy them pretty cheap in germany right now. No chance to try them yet. Hope it’s good stuff for downwinders in windy brazil (Prea – Jeri) in 2 weeks! 

@jan_hou: Dit you already try the 5m, any comments?

i had the same problem wih my Naish Sol 2006 board and its footstraps.
I don't even have really small feet.

What id did was the following.
I cut a piece of 5mm neoprene(from an old wetsuit) and shuffed it in my footstraps. Perfect fit now and really cheap! :thumb:

Work on your technique. i had a toroII-12m and 16m. Both kites go upwind easily in my opinion. Slacken your backlines en make sure you keep those backlines slackened when sailing, let the kite move to the edge of the window. Keep it there, it will pull you upwind like any other kite. I own Best Neme...

Gear is expensive on isla margarita. They have to pay somethnig like 70% import tax. That makes the prices a lot higher than in Europe/US. They probably know ways to smuggle gear in to Venzuela. But in general you'll get (much) lower prices in germany. also think about getting service on a product y...

. 2 of my friends are about the same weight and they share a 18m Aero2. The 18m gets doesn't get them planing noticeable earlier than my 16m. So i agree, when everybody is sailing 12 and 14m's. Just put up a 16m Toro2. It has enough depower and is fun to sail in it's upper range. What you wright do...

I've a Toro2 12m and 16m. My board is a Cabrinha Spoiler 150. I've about 30 days of kiting experience. My weight is 75 kg. 2 of my friends are about the same weight and they share a 18m Aero2. The 18m gets doesn't get them planing noticeable earlier than my 16m. Talking about going upwind. The Toro2...

I had the same problem with my scepter bar. If you tie a knot near the chickenloop it will work. But be aware. The rubber safety thing that you push upwards to release your kite may release by itself during kiting OR it may not release at all. The metal thing that twists to release the chickenloop m...
