Re: Cape Town - Blouberg/Big Bay Tips

Renting car is a good idea. And if you rent a car you can stay anywhere around blouberg and park at the beach, near bars where your wife can chill. It is a Cape Town — wind is predictable. If it is windy in the morning it is nuking in the evening. If the wind is light or there is no wind in the morn...

Re: Core kites and kiteboarding industry sales this year

the brand loyalty level within kiteboarding is insane, i dont think that helps Really? None of my firends had problems jumping brands once they got a very good deal on new gear from 'the other brand dealer'. Me neither. I have flown on 4 kite brands kites now. But I have always tried to keep one mo...

Re: 2019 Duotone Click Bar

Just replace the lines. There are some SK99 likes on the market. There was a great line shop here, but closed :( I have north bars - I like their design, they were very best with iron heart couple years ago. Better or worse lines, did not matter. Now - competition did catch up. Imho north should rec...

Re: 30.4m Jump on Woo? Now 30.7m!!

Or simply get a 30m bar and/or stand on a dune/hill, start with kite lower than you and send it from the ground to the zenith and back. Simple - maybe woo detects such 'cheats'.

Re: Woo3 and Xensr compared

Garmin watch works with this kite app for height.. Change is like a holiday :thumb: https://apps.garmin.com/en-NZ/apps/9c6b7ae2-ad68-43ea-b129-bbd52f19bd68#0 If it doesn't work properly - it's in the right forum post :cool2: It uses watch's internal sensor, right? If so its not so good, as board is...

Re: Woo3 and Xensr compared

I've suggested a likely cause of error before. No degrees here, no top 20 android apps, no genius friends to advise on other's errors. However, the woo chips have to work out an average water height level reference if they are going to record a jump height from lake/river/sea level. If the average ...

Re: Woo3 and Xensr compared

Well, I had piq and have woo3 ... from my feeling the jumps are quite correct. Also from my mates viewpoint from beach. I jump usually 10-12,5m from flat with no funny leg swinging etc. Seems prety accurate to me. But I would love to see a proper woo test with some sort of reference. I hope woo guys...
