I don't think he broke the hand/dislocated the wrist just by punching the sand. I know he's a strong dude, but it must've weakened by that crash... Considering the pressure he clearly put on himself, he was in such a rush (adrenaline+shock+disappointment+anger) he probably wouldn't even felt a broke...

Where is the wind the same as always this time of the year? Besides lower Caribbean, where the Easterly trade wind blows like a machine. How is Asia? Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines? I hear Zanzibar has an exceptional season... Probably first time in history Zanzibar has more wind than Cape Town... :o
