Re: Advice from anyone who has ridden Blade Triggers

12 and 9 would work well. If you have the budget get a 2015 12m Trigger. The upper range is extended and the kite flies super smooth that will give you a better overlap with the 9m.

Re: OR Flite 2.0 vs Blade Fat Lady v3

Here is the FL v3 review thread on PS kite: http://pskite.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=10703 I have owned and flown the kite for the past 2 months. We ride at Jetty Island up in the PNW where the wind especially in late Aug and Sept is very marginal. I pair the kite with either a shinn 135x41 or a Sector...

Re: 17m Light wind kite advice

If you are on a budget get a FL v2. There are some good deals as mentioned in this thread. This is how it goes: FL v1: fast turning, moderate bar pressure, OK low end, OK high end, upwind - average FL v2: slower turning than v1, light bar pressure, great low end, better high end (vs v1) better upwin...

Re: fat lady v3

I just updated the original FL v3 review thread on pskite: http://pskite.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=10703 I rode it in 10-12mph conditions with a regular TT for about 3hrs yesterday on the shorter steering line setting and without extensions. With the extensions and a lightwind board 10mph would be ea...

Re: fat lady v3

Anyone heavy had a chance to test it in the low end range? 8-11 knots Define heavy? I'm 185 ride a 143x48 and for me in rough conditions (swell, chop, etc). I would say the bottom end to be able to ride up wind is around 10 knots. 200lbs+ thanks for describing the conditions you tried it in. I'm th...

Re: fat lady v3

I have to agree! I had my first ride on my new V3 two hours ago and I can definitely feel the differences vs. V2. Up wind clearly felt better. Turning maybe slightly better. Was really good before and I think that the improvements of the wing tip profile was partly off set by the bridle tweaking do...

Re: fat lady v3

The FL v3 is now available! Fast turning, lots of low end power, more upwind and awesome graphics!
Been riding mine for a couple of weeks. Read my mini-review at the pskite forum:

Re: Naish Swivell Issue on 2014 Brand New Bar

Beyond the obvious (no sand/debris in the swivel, etc), if your kite is fully powered up (where the rope is actually out of the cleat with the white strap jammed against the QR housing) then you might be experiencing the following: the yellow bungee line is fully stretched and loaded that makes it c...
