I use Sony Vegas Studio, which does a pretty good job stabilizing (by zooming in). Here's some videos I've ...

Re: Board Suggestions for KB4C

Glad you're making it, this event is always a hoot! I can tell you the podium is all folks on strapless surfboards. Last year Cory R was on his raceboard and ended up 3rd (went faster but probably got tired quicker). If you're comfortable on the surfboard and consistently land gybes go for it. Other...

Re: Wide race boards

Right on Christoff. Can I ask what foam you used for the blank? I built one using stacked sheets of XPS insulation foam from Home Depot. The widest I could get with this foam was 56cm though, unless I glue 2 stacks together (next time). The cost for foam was way cheap (30$) compared to other options...

Re: Knee injuries

If you have insurance go for the surgery without a doubt. 2 1/2 years ago I had a major ACL/MCL/meniscus blowout (kiteloops...). My Dr recommended against using cadaver tissue as it can be more brittle, so I opted for the patella reconstruction, which has a harder recovery but better long term resul...

Re: if you fall in 4m waves ???

A good way to keep your kite up while in the washing machine is looping it. Just keep pulling one side of the bar and you'll eventually get yanked out of there...maybe 3 or 4 loops later.
