Re: How to measure/size a Ozone frenzy fx kite? No markings?

+1 for the above comment. I've got an 11m frenzy measuring 20' (6.1m) X 6' (1.8m) =11m. Grab a tape and measure your wing!

Re: small wave kite = storm kite?

+1 for OR's 5m Storm. Sheds gusts like mad, holds power in the lulls, super stable, and built to take some serious carnage.

Re: Tips for 180s on a surfboard?

Thanks for the tips guys! I think my weight is too far forward so next time out I'll work on that. Oh and yes the board is a quad and maybe dropping a couple of fins will help. Cheers!!!

Tips for 180s on a surfboard?

Okay I've been attempting 180s on a surfboard while popping off some chop. Now I can swing the board around but it seems as the fins 'catch' once I've rotated the 180 and I fall off the board. Any tips or advice??? Too far back/forward?? Cheers,

Re: Ocean Rodeo One-Pump Valves

If just the adhesive has come unglued I would use tear-aid. Use a strip of tear-aid and cut a hole in the middle. Now slide the patch over the valve so that it catches the lip of the valve and the bladder. The other option is to heat the old valve off and get a new stick on type valve from kitefix, ...

Re: It's sooo hard

Try loosening your straps a tad to allow your feet to slip in easier. the sooner the board is on your feet, the sooner you can dive your kite and get riding. Don't go too loose on the straps as I'm envisioning a nasty knee injury. Stick with it...it's sooooooo worth it!

Re: Getting a new USED kite..

Ocean Rodeo - God I love these kites . Are they as bulit proof as they claim ? That is a huge appeal to me.. Not that I'm super hard on my gear, I just don't like the idea of my kite being super 'delicate' If I liked the Waroo and am looking to progress with bigger jumps, back rolls , transistions ...
