Re: Woo3 and Xensr compared

Intresting - device also measures height at distance.. If it is accurate enough would remove pole-camera horizontal plane verification..

Re: Advice for hill ascents/descents

If you go with skis I recommend going face first like a paraglider inverting bar from normal kite position, red to right hand. You need speed to get lift-off and steer kite above you before lift off. Be very careful while flying that you don't turn kite too quick and get out of control due to swingi...

Re: Infinity 3 bar for Soul 15

My preference is always trim strap for recreational riding. I usually don't touch depower during my sessions because with foil kite there is no need.

On my other Ozone bar clam cleat eats line and gets stuck when heavy kiter boosts.

And I wish to pay extra for a world known paragliders manufacturer that is Ozone, or proven quality of foil kites of Flysurfer.
Skywalk paragliders is closely related to Flysurfer kiteboarding in case you did not know. Perhaps the connection is not so "world known".

Re: Foil Jumping Pictures/Videos & Tips

I am not against Bridge's 28.5m jump and with foil. I actually hope that he & foil breaks 30 woo-meters first in the scene. But data on his record set shows 28.5m jump is outlier jump when comparing other jumps on his set. Sure you never know when pieces of puzzle clicks and you do the record. 11s h...

Re: Foil kite longevity

As kite is soft there is not pressure points to ground. Only thing is LE ribs. If you land or more crash LE first to sand and wind tosses kite left and right you'll get serious wear where ribs are or even holes. But landing tail first no prob.

Re: Woo3 and Xensr compared

-Jumping in front of the camera and trying to mesure from the take off point is far from accurate because depending if you go to the camera or away from it while in the air, even if the jump is the same height, one is gonna look higher than the other... because of perspective. No, the camera at cer...

Re: Another casualty in Italy

Sorry to hear and condolences to his family. I've started thinking if tragic accidents are indirectly because of certain jump game with measuring device. I mean ppl go out in crazy weather with crazy big kites on crazy locations. I don't know about this tragic case but I'm mentioning it for awarenes...

Re: Woo3 and Xensr compared

Nice video with effort - and finally some used camera-horizon -plane level (with a drone). But with mast plane-video would not have battery issues and they would have got more jumps.. ;)

Re: How low can a Twintip go?

First time demoing Sonic v1 15m with flydoor xl meaning no touch to new kind of kite. My main kite was lotus 15m at that time. 110kg + gear like wetsuit, pfd and helmet. 4-5m/s est wind. Usually I can go if kite climbs to close zenith. If stalls at 45 deg = > beach time but usually even with my weig...
