Re: What kite was Oliver Bridge using in Italy racing?

For big (18) and medium (13-12) for sure Elf, but there was one windy day where the riders used their 10, 9 and 8 kites. Was Oli using small Elf's or small Dynos?

Re: Any restrictions at Poetto b. Cagliari for kiting in Mar

Thanx baobob!
I have to choose between several accomadation options, that's why I'm asking.
Would be nice if it's possible to kite right in front of the appartement without carying all the racing gear to much around :)
Maybe see you there!

Any restrictions at Poetto b. Cagliari for kiting in March?

A question to italian kiters: are there any restrictions of using the Poetto beach in March for launching kites? I mean the urban area closer to marina that is used by sunbathers etc.
Thanks for any input!

Re: Titanium Foil

Ok guys, thanx for the input. I'm just not sure if a 12mm solid aluminium is enough for the 1m mast...
Another option would be a cnc-cut wooden profile wraped with lets say 4mm aluminium tin.. would it be much lighter?

Re: Titanium Foil

It's for sure not for selling :) Just want to make one for my self to try it out, just thought it's easier than playing around with wood, carbon/glass fiber and resin.

Re: Aluminium foil

Hi, have someone tried to build a complete foil from aluminium? I mean the kiel, the fuselage and the wings. I thought of a 12 mm thick , 900mm long and 100mm deep alu block cut to wing design on CNC for the kiel, 30mm*40mm*600mm for the fuselage and a 8mm thick alu plates for the wings. I've found ...

Re: North 2014 DIce What do You think?

Have been flying the 9m Dice for some time now - can't say anything negative. Turns very fast, depowers OK, lowend is not impressive, but you cant have fast turning and grunty kite at the same time. When overpowered it still stears very good. It does not stall (immidiatly) if oversheeted (like rebel...

Re: Proposed IKA Foilboard Class Rules! Rise up against this

What holds you back to organize and participate at NON IKA events??? The foil hysteria will end as suddenly as it begun, they've been there since kitesurfing begun... top guys like J.H. will always seek for something new because of theyr tallent, opportunities and sponsors... but these are 5-10 guys...
