I rinse it every time as soon as I get out of the water. Still seizes up.

I sent them a message on Facebook asking if its alright to use a little lubricant on the joint. Their answer was one word: "Yes".

I'm about to add a little Tri-flow.

Re: Got my hands on the Quark!

https://www.facebook.com/kitechino/videos/263233024390602/ Every time I get mine wet it seems to be slightly blocked the next day. I need to force it a bit, but then it works fine after. -- Gunnar Make sure you rinse in in fresh water after you use it. Better to rinse it before you force it. Forcin...

Re: Got my hands on the Quark!

Even worse... They actually show on their website the quark being submerged - in the foil video of Keahi at the beginning. And the fact to rinse this thing after use (which they show in a video) also suggests that it is splashproof. How much splash or pressure will it handle, dear team Noir Matter?...

Re: Advice for hill ascents/descents

Saul, I grew up in NW Ohio, and now I live in Colorado. So, please consider yourself invited to come out to train any time this winter, I have a crash pad for you. I did Ragnarok year before last and loved it. It was clear that a lot of people didn't know how to deal with the hills. Dropping down f...

Yeah, I may have missed your point that you wanted to fly down, thought you were talking about getting down fast and fun

Re: Ram airs crash in 2018

Inflated kites rule in almost every way, EXCEPT racing. If you want to get into racing, if you want to get serious, you need a ram-air foil kite. The evidence is overwhelming and objective. I was at WISSA in 2015, racing on inflated kites. ALL of the winners were on ram air foils. ALL of them. The f...

Advice for hill ascents/descents

I am hoping to go to Ragnarok for my second time next year, and need to learn a thing or two about dealing with hills. I didn't want to jump off the hills like I saw some people doing, especially since I had broken a line a couple months before on a medium sized jump on ice. Not me, but what I want ...

Re: How often do you get chased by dogs?

It happens to me now and then. They mostly just want to play, so there's nothing to be worried about. And if they did get aggressive, I am sure I could get away from them.
