Re: Short video of 2018 Rebel in light wind

Short video of 2018 Rebel in light wind

Impromptu video(portrait mode) just showing it in flight. Static flying a 10m in 1-4mph Wind and no higher then a 5-6mph “gust” measured on a ground wind meter at the location. Seems like not too long ago an average size kite would struggle to fly in that light of wind? http://www.youtube.com/watch?...

Re: What type of information and how you prefer to see it when you look for the forecast

I like the look and lay out of the wind forecast on this site for a quick glance and get a good “feel” for the wind and I also look at the temp and wind direction: http://www.usairnet.com/cgi-bin/launch/code.cgi?Submit=Go&sta=KPWA&state=OK I like this site to really examine all that is listed on the...

Re: Dead or dying kiteboarding companies

Hence the big 4 established brands. Cabrinha, Naish, Slingshot, North. That’s what your up against unless you can offer ...

A composite question - metal to composite

Excuse me for the non board question; but there is a lot of composite knowledge here. What would be the best way to fasten a threaded insert of any type, shape, or design to the end of a carbon tube? For a 20mm diameter bolt or stud. Either mechanically or epoxy. Strength for it to never pull or bre...
