Re: Bandit 5 line length

Ah, OK.

So with the strap fully released, so the front lines are at their longest, everything should be the same length?

Bandit 5 line length

Can anyone help please? I've just fitted new lines to my bar, and I want to trim them to the right relative lengths. When the ends of the lines are attached to a fixed point, and I pull on the bar unhooked so the chicken loop is up to the bar, the lines should all be the same length when: -the de-po...

Re: California winter kiting, does it go off?

I'd avoid southern California around LA completely for kitesurfing if I were you. Ultra competitive locals, strict rules that are enforced by over zealous locals riders (mostly ex surfers so they are used to a lot of infighting when they fall out with each other in the line up) and state officials, ...

Wainman Blunt 2010 versus Blunt 2011

Wondering if anyone can help me please.... I tried a 2011 blunt last week and loved the way I got no spray in my eyes at all. I've searched everywhere and cannot find a well priced 2011 Blunt (they're all over 500 quid whiuch i don'y have right now). I have found a few second hand 2010 Blunts for un...

Re: which freeride board for weak knees / antivibration?

Come on Mr. Moon, hand your board over....you know you want to give it to me. A Shinn Twin is what you've always wanted, you're just to scared to ask. No more Mr. Nice Guy, just a straight swap. I'll throw in a pump for good will too. And some sunscreen.

last chance.......

Re: 2 Months Kiting in the Caribbean.. Where would you go?

Wow, lucky you. I'm jealous. Tulum is a really beautiful place, great locals, and good food, and south of there you will find some beaches that are totally deserted in the national park, if you don't mind surfing on your own. Some amazing flat water sections, but I didn't find the wind too powerful ...

Re: California winter kiting, does it go off?

That's great, thanks. I'll definitely try and get on one of these trips. I'm only here for three months and have to work Monday to Friday, so was hoping that someone might be able to help me with a little more local info...

I may be able to make a baja trip in April.....

Re: California winter kiting, does it go off?

I've been in Southern California since the New Year, and haven't seen a breath of wind yet, except a 4 mph offshore! Looking at windguru, I can see there's a chance I may get a surf in this Sunday afternoon. I was thinking of heading to Leo Carillo. My biggest kite is 14m. I'm from England, and desp...
