That is the reason why Cabrinha is offering std PU boards... check website. I think the others (North, NAish, Slighshot...) will adopt this initiative soon.
Forget bamboo, EPS... robust but heavy, it does not surf.
Forget this rubbish, I owned different kitesurf boards... Wam, Kontact, Naish Global... then I switched to a Tuflite from CI all merrick and what a different... this is real surfing. Now I am riding a std PU Channel Island Semipro 12...(500€), much better than any other board I had ever ride, smooth...
I ride in the area I would forget Conil, is not the best spot in the area, only if you are a beninner and you want to stay in the lagoon, but still a bit dangerous, lots of garbage and hidden rocks, be carefull. For riding in open sea, you need "poniente" wind on-shore, forget with off-shore levante...
