Re: Kitesurfing Sardinia

Porto Pollo is awesome, I was there in April. It varied between 7m and 12m. Out of 10 days we kited 7 I think. I imagine that it would be super busy in the summer as when it went to Easter weekend it went from a week of only being us out on the water to being rammed. The North school said that May a...

Raglan, New Zealand

Hi,

Does anyone know when windy season is in Raglan, New Zealand?

My cousin lives in Hamilton and I want to tie a visit in with kiting.

Cheers

Re: Hatteras In September - Help Needed

Hi,

Thanks for all the responses.

So is the general feeling that we'd be wasting our time going to Hatteras in September?

It's not the strong wind that bothers us, it's the lack of wind we're concerned about.

Is there anywhere else in the US that would be better in September?

Hatteras In September - Help Needed

Hi, I need some help. My mates and I are thinking of flying from the UK to NY and then driving down the coast to Hatteras in September. Can anyone let me know what the wind is likely to be like then? Do we need to bring wetsuits? Where is the best area to try and find accommodation? Any other tips? ...

Re: New kites and liability insurance.

On the face of it, given the information that we know, if a solicitor (lawyer/attorney to anyone not in the UK) couldn't get damages against Caution they shouldn't be practising. The product was defective and the injuries resulted from the defective product. I accept there may have been some contrib...

Re: Potential safety issue with Epic Renegade kites

Poster: barrybarryr Fortunately the shop he bought it from paid for a professional repair because they understood it should have been fixed under warranty. The truth is Epic should have swapped the kite over for a new one. Yes that is probably because we told the shop we will pay for the repair sin...

Re: Potential safety issue with Epic Renegade kites

P.S. To these who's wondering - Epic has refused to replace my bladder under warranty despite the fact that this is clearly a manufacturing defect, under the pretext that if there was a problem - it would have happened a lot sooner. This is absolutely standard practice at Epic when you contact them...

Re: Switch Labs

Whilst it's good Switch have put the videos up, all these tests are done in perfect lab conditions. Kites aren't used in lab conditions. It's all very well saying we did a motion with a weight 10 thousand times when there is no imperfection and the test is a straight up and down exercise. Would be g...

Why do they flag it onto two front lines? Surely one is a better safety?
