how did you stitch it together?
did you simply loop the thread round or is there a technique to this?

hi, Can someone post up a picture of the correct way to set-up the flexifoil 5th-line mode on their axis bar? The hand book for the kite is terrible and gives you next to no information or help on how to do it. the way i've got it set up, i've got a little steal ring spare, a short length of plastic...

out of interest, could you not just direct the kite so it's pointing the way you want to go, then simply just glide out of the up draft, then once you on the way back down (as you've left the updraft) do what ever to slow you decent?

as long as the lengths match up then yes. i.e. if you want to use the bar and lines you have on a kite with 4 25m lines, make sure you don't have 2 24m lines and 2 25m lines, get it? the kite might not behave as nicely as the bar length probably won't be the same as the indented length, but it's not...

so to go about this i'm going to set my kite in a u position in a field, leashed to a fence post, then just move the bar up and down the safety line abit, to see where looks good, then fix a stopper ball there... job done?

is there any way of working out a good place to start with my stopped ball?
i.e. the depth of my kite?
is it a case of trail an error, starting with the stopper at about 2m up the 5th line?

yyooo!! this has probably been talked about before, but my search was unsuccessful. so, i've got an ion 3, and don't like the safety system on either 4 or 5 lines modes. for me a 4 line flag out is about as good as it gets, and this is why. the 4 line mode (think it's called a mini 5th), looks dodgy...
