This is the requisites: - Paradisiac beach is important - I am experienced, not superpro but not need help besides if possible someone to help launching and landing the kite. - Some kite center nearb...

Re: Airush 2012 New Sectors -- 54, 60, and 66cm V3

Thanks Mike, it is the same I have heard in Spain. They are about to arrive. We were wrong... There is mention of MT base and Tuttle in that PDF, but when the order arrived, the code numbers matched, and the carver set had mini tuttle bases not full tuttle - for use in the 54 only... Currently the o...

Re: Spy photo new 2013 North Dyno !!!

And it has been racing before  http://www.britishkitesurfingassociatio ... wpnsa.html Good picture. Both models side by side! It really seems the same kite but without the 2ond strut (counting from the edge). 1st and 3rd struts seem to be at the same distance. Tried to superimpose the edges o...

Re: Airush 2012 New Sectors -- 54, 60, and 66cm V3

Hi Mike, in spain. Hope we receive them soon here. Regarding carving set, you mean it is delayed or it doesnt exist anymore? From what i remember in airush blog presenting v3, there you can see a carver set for the 60. It is not ever coming the carver set i might start looking for windsurfing wave f...

Re: Airush 2012 New Sectors -- 54, 60, and 66cm V3

I have just received the V3 60, with standard quad fin set up. I understand you can buy a back centre fin to convert to Tri set up; plus you can get a complete tri fin set up for carving. Are these two options readily available? Any experiences to share? I am waiting for the replacement fins (centr...

Re: EH Rippehr replacement

Hi I want to replace my 9m V6 rippehr (2010) with a similar second hand kite. I am into wave riding so what I'm looking for in a kite is: drift, steering with slack lines, depower, good safety, turning speed, good wind range For the moment I'm looking at the Wainman smoke from 2010. Any other ideas...

Re: Top Windsurfers said to take up Kiteboarding for Rio 201

The 2012 Olympic Windsurfing Competition came to an end yesterday with Dorian van Rijsselberghe and Marina Alabau taking Olympic Gold. But it seems that we will see at least some of the top sailors back on the race courses very soon. Dutch van Rijsselberghe said right after his victory, that he has...

Re: Edge vs Dyno 15m vs 17m

Mostly agree with Dave specially on the board comment. I don´t know the size of your actual kite, but a 132TT for 80Kg is restricting a lot your low wind capabilities. Bigger kite of course can help, but I do believe you have more low wind potential if you use a bigger board. Plus is cheaper, easier...

Re: Tuning and riding 17m Dyno. Advice req

Been riding on the dyno 17 also since april. For me turning is not slow given the size of the kite, I can try to catch some waves so for me it is perfect (no wave expert at all). It may be just a question of technique with the bar, board and kite speed. Give a strong turn stroke to the bar at the ve...

Re: Airush 2012 New Sectors -- 54, 60, and 66cm V3

Probably the best look you will get at it will be to set this video to 1080P and maybe also see what the foils on the other fins on your board look like too (unless they are asymmetric). Hi, yes they are assimetric (the stock ones I mean, the one I am looking for should be simmetric), tried to chec...
