Anybody know about kiting in Phuket, Thailand?

Hello Kiteforum! I'm heading to Phuket, Thailand for an impromptu trip at the beginning of May but I don't see too many wind sensors there. Does anybody know anything about kiting there? I'm taking my gear anyway but would be nice to know what kind of quiver to take. If there is kiting there and if ...

Re: why don't kite bags have line spools?

I always leave my lines attached to the kite, only real way to do it with foil kites. If you wrap the lines up right they should not tangled when to roll them back out.

Re: How long does your wet suit last?

I've had my Mystic 5/3 for about 5 years. It started coming apart on me from the first season and I've kept it alive with glue and patches, lots of glue and patches...

Re: wanted: agression 134x46 in the states

I have a Super Fatty I'd be willing to part with. I think it's 132x46. It's white and in pretty good condition. I also have a 138x44 (I think)...

There was a firmware update a month or so ago. Are all your Woo's up to date?

Re: How Reliable is the Woo?

I believe it's supposed to be on your board as well; right in the middle. I've been using the Woo all summer and never had an issue. Last session it recorded 108 jumps in a 3hr session. Had my record at 25.7ft!

Re: Cabo san lucas kitesurfing info?

Its not impossible but not easy either. Most of the wind comes from the north over the mountains and land. Makes it kooky. Just 2.5 hours away is Lis Barriles or La Ventana, both world class spots! The season is winding down though so might be hit or miss. Ill be there next weekend though

Re: Best gopro mount

I've been using the hand mount by Versa Mount. Straps to your hand so you can your buddys and it swivels so you can film yourself. So far it hasn't caught on anything and doesn't interfere with the kiting at all. I've even used it scuba diving and snowkiting.
