And if there's still time before the sun goes down for an evening session after work there are a few more exercises that might just warm up those problem tendons:

TBH I would do more stretches, if I was not a lazy SOB. Maybe some day.

Re: Boosting only one way

Its normal. To me there are few considerations. For instance sometimes if you are in big surf its a matter of safety to be able to jump both ways. Same goes for switching and toeside riding. If you do not have any safety considerations it is of course entirely up to you if you want to learn both way...

Re: How dangerous is this?

Knotwindy, the rider abilities really has no bearing on this at all. Shit can happen. Sure it does. If he is well within his ability level he can handle whatever ‘shit can happen ‘. We all do this all the time . Secondly sure people has different risk assessment skills, the problem is of course tha...

Knotwindy, the rider abilities really has no bearing on this at all. Shit can happen. Secondly sure people has different risk assessment skills, the problem is of course that it impacts someone else. Re: How dangerous is this?

How dangerous is it? Lucky there was no fatality. I mean of course it depends on the child. If the child swims in the ocean every day and can swim back from however far out it is, then it's not a big deal but if they can't . . . . This is exactly the point. A 6 y/o kid cannot judge that. And a pare...

Re: Naish Dash - is it good for beginner?

Btw sheet and go is great...but not a requirement to learn. For me sheet and go type kites are great for beginners...but it is also great for strapless surfboard tricks and the likes...
If you are going for freestyle I think you'll do well on the dash. Its not that hard to ride it.

Re: How dangerous is this?

I think it is bananas. I also have a fairly strong dislike for parents subject their kids to shit like that (usual excuse is to say but the kid wanted to as if the kid is able to make those judgments). SO I know there is a lot I do not know here. Were the kid in a vest, how are the conditions...how ...

Re: Naish Dash - is it good for beginner?

I dunno how you would outgrow the Pivot. Langeree won King of the Air on it. I guess I would not do freestyle on it, but then again it can do pretty much everything else.

...wait are you talking about the Draft or the Dash?

Re: Naish Dash- is it good for beginner?

If the price is right, sure. Its an easy to use kite, but fast. It packs a bit more punishment than the Pivot or Ride, but it is relatively easy to relaunch. If you plan to ride a TT and do tricks the Dash is a great kite. I do not see why you shouldn't use a dash. The Dash dna is from a c-kite, but...

Re: Help me complete my quiver: 80 kg rider

Wave kites tend to be less powerful (size for size) than free-ride kites. Free ride kites can perform quite well in waves. It may be a while before you need the drift qualities of a wave kite. I'd consider going for a 9m Swichblade and maybe a 15m Contra (or possibly a 17m Contra, if you are inland...
