Re: 2018 quiver advice?

So you want a kite that is good at kite looping and foiling. How hard to you want the kite to pull in the loops? I mean to me (just considering my experience ir would be pivot and or slash, both naish kites). If you want hard core loops then yeah torch, but not quite sure how to foil with that kite....

Tuttle vs Deep tuttle

Hi all, so I got an old kite raceboard that I want to foil surf. I have no idea if the boxes are tuttle or deep tuttle.

In the deepest part, the box is about 2.25in or 5.7cm, in the shallow end 1.75in or 4.5cm. It's about 6in or 15cm long. Any ideas?

Re: Overview Boxes and Plates

All the Naish board comes with tracks. On the skinny boards, the aluminum tracks are slightly less deep, but all boards come with the correct hardware. I think the tracks are 10” US Boxes. On the foil, they have a standard plate. but sell both Tuttle and deep Tuttle that you can use on the mast. New...

Kevin’s attitude is infectious, and he seems just the same in person the times I’ve met him in Cape Town.
Nice. I've never met him, but he seems like a genuinely nice and stoked guy. His videos make me happy.

Re: Do you disassemble your foilboard after each use?

I always take the foil off the board. So easy with the abracadabra system from Naish.

Same same.

Just beware if you're a bigfoot. US mens 11 is the largest it will take, sans booties.
Hmm, I dunno about that. I have size 12 feet, and I can use them easily with booties too. Maybe some other factors are at play?

Re: Sooo fun session!!

I had an hour on flat water on my surfboard, just practicing moves...pretty boring. Then, after my 10 year old son's second lesson was over, I took him on my board and took him for a spin. Put a massive grin on both of our faces!! Life can be so cool. Sounds great. When I have a "learn new stuff" s...

Sooo fun session!!

Oh man, yesterday was just the best. Clean set waves about 10 foot with a ton of smaller waves in between, great group of people and steady winds. Just what kiteboarding should be. I am so excited. Just one of those epic days of awesome kiteboarding.

How was your session?

Re: Beginner kite- Core XR5 or Naish Pivot

By now you have gathered that there are lots of opinions on almost every topic in kitesurfing, some vehemently held. I’ve worn a seat harness for 12 years, hate waist harnesses and gave mine away. Still love my Pivots! :D :thumb: :thumb: I gotta say it's all about the feel on the harness, nothing t...

Re: Naish Slash 2018 vr Naish Slash 2019

Thanks for the response Tautologies. I have sold my 2018 Pivots and find myself in that uneasy situation of not having kites for a short period of time.... and of course, our lack of wind for the past 4 months has miraculously had a turn around and there is perfect windy conditions for the next wee...
