Re: Issue with Naish Kite leading edge, manufacturing defect ?

I stand corrected and you have certainly clarified, beyond any doubt, your postion. My position is to not necessarily pass judgment on the OP's level of honesty. I simply will say which scenario is more likely. I will not pass judgement on someone with a simple picture, lest that picture includes t...

Re: Chinese KB Hydrofoil : 300 USD + shipment

Hi Everyone, I actually just tested this one yesterday. A friend of mine brought it. So here is a short review: Build Quality: Horrible. These are not full carbon. The mast and Fuselage are G10 wrapped in 1 layer of 300g Fibreglass and a 80g Carbon layer on the surface for show. On the mast the Car...

I don't care about exact measurements I just want a video that really gives justice to how high these jumps are, I don't care if it's 20 meters or 30 meters,
I agree 100%. Its a high jump. I think that should be about it when it comes to claims.

Re: Shoulder Replacement

I'm 60 years old and destined for a shoulder replacement in one month. I love to kite and hope to continue. Pretty freaked out. Anyone out there had a full shoulder replacement and continued to kite? Or does anyone know of anyone who came back to kiting after a shoulder replacement? Thanks. I can't...

Re: Eye protection -> tips on cheap and good-ish sunglasses for kiting

Ok the #m glasses and straps came in today. I think this is going to be it from me in terms of exploring other options. I do not mind paying for quality, but most glasses cost $150-$250 unless its seaspecs and for they all break fairly fast. 3M with straps came in at at $20 for 4 glasses and 6 strap...

Re: Liquid Force compatible surf foil wing

Yes, some are using the old wing here for waveriding and freestyle. As I recall in memory it is around 820-840 cm2 in surface area (bigger than even my huge marginal wind wing also used as a windfoil wing), quite "lifty" and turns okay, so works for waves :D 8) PF I dunno that will work for surfing...

Re: Channels on a surfboards

This is worth a watch where they've done flow modelling on different Firewire designs, though not specifically commenting on the effect of the channels, you can see what they are doing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZrYt5t3qalI That video is a bit annoying and a bit interesting. Maybe I just need...
