Re: Where can I get the best price in Cabrinha?

Hi,

Cabrinha is really cheap in Asia and I mean really cheap. It's so cheap here, they don't advertise the prices. You'll have to e-mail them personally.

One shop I know in Asia is so cheap, they don't even let you take a camera into the shop!

Hope that helps...

Re: Kites for near Singapore?

Hi, You can kite off East Coast Beach in July and August. The winds will be from 12 to 18 knots. Also you can take a one hour ferry to Bintan Indonesia. Most will stay the night. The winds in Bintan may reach 20 knots and the water is nice and flat. You can fly to Bali which is 3.5 hours away. The w...

Re: Trainer kite to teach daughter

I highly recommend the Flysurfer Viron. Its the best trainer kite I have used and I have used many. It flies similarly to full size kites. The Viron is extremely stable and moves very slowly so students have time to react correctly. The largest Viron at 6m can even be used to pull a rider in stronge...

Re: Ocean Rodeo Prodigy - All New 3 Strut Freeride Kite

I am dealer for Ocean Rodeo and a kite instructor. I post reviews on kites after fairly extensive use and I try my best to be objective and unbiased in my reviews. I have been flying the Prodigy for 2 months now and have lots of time with the 14m (see my review above). The wind has picked up somewha...

Re: top trainer kites?

I run a kite school and we use both the Hydra and Viron. we've also used other trainer kites but they're just in the store room now. The Hydra is good but can really pull very hard if the wind picks up. The Viron is hands down the the better trainer kite. Although the Viron is small, it is not a fas...

Re: Beginner Kite

Hi Ocean Rodeo has an awesome new kite (just released last month) called the Prodigy. They also have a 1st ride package which is extremely competitive. Just over USD1000. Why don't you check with a retailer near you. Many beginners make the mistake of getting a kite that is too performance orientate...

Re: Ocean Rodeo Prodigy - All New 3 Strut Freeride Kite

Review of the Prodigy 14m I am a kite instructor and a dealer for Ocean Rodeo. My all time favorite kite in 2012 has been the Cypher. Specifically the 12m Cypher as winds around where I kite are fairly light at this time of year. See my review for the Cypher here... http://www.kiteforum.com/viewtopi...

Re: Trainer kite for strong winds?

The Flysurfer Viron is an excellent trainer kite. Our kite schools use the Viron for two seasons now and absolutely no damage. In stronger winds, we use it to teach everything except board starts. In very strong winds, we use the Viron to teach board starts to very light riders. Its very expensive f...

Re: ocean rodeo cypher

Hi, I wrote a review a while back. Been riding the Cypher for two seasons now. It still rocks. Here's a link to my review http://www.kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2374309 While the incredible de-power is amazing and was what really got my attention, what I really like is how stable it is. Ocean ...

Re: Quality Ripstop Tape needed

Hi Try using this sail repair tape http://www.admiralpsp.co.uk/psp/products/sail-repair-tapes.html The kite repair tape that they offer is exactly the same as the spinnaker repair tape. I had a LF Havoc that had a 1m + tear on the first week I got it. I used this tape and it held out for 3 seasons u...
