Scoop3 17 review?

Hi,

I have read some reviews on the smaller sizes of the Scoop3 series.

Does anybody have experience with the 17m? It's the most important size around here. We are using this size 90% of the time.

Thanks,
kGreg

When spending honeymoon in Spain last September, we took a train from Madrid Atocha to Sevilla ... it was the 5th time that I have been in Spain and it was always wonderful, some great people over there.

It's hard to hear this news.

My deepest condolences to all!

New Takoon Mamoot?

I heard the new Mamoot would come in 3 sizes: 16, 20, 24.

It is supposed to have more grunt in light winds and less windrange than in the previous version.

Does anybody have more detailed information on it's light wind qualities?

Regards,
kGreg

From my experience with snowboarding 20 years ago, you CAN'T control a sport! Hung. You are right that you cannot control everybody/everything. But if I think back, when I started 3 years ago, I did really stupid (dangerous) things. I was lucky, did not damage myself. But it would have been great t...

One more question: normally I use Takoon Skoop2s, but in that smaller size I would probably go for the WOOK2 6m.

Do you think it's reasonable to switch to a lower AR kite like the WOOK2 in really strong winds?

Thanks.

Thanks, sounds great, I wasn't sure, I thought maybe they are too nervous or something... did not see below 9m any in action yet.

I will go for it...

Extremely small kites for very Strong Winds...

Hi, I have been in Tarifa in September for app. 8 days. I had my 9m Takoon Skoop2 with me, but the wind was so strong (35-45 knots on 7 of 8 days) that I have not been able to go kiting (nor the locals; only with trainer kites), although I am 90 kg. ...I DON'T WANT TO REPEAT THAT!!! Does it make sen...

Hi, last year I have done some bad damage to my right heel. Actually the bone did not brake, but the ... between the skin and the bone. I could not stand on it for weeks. It took several weeks to get better. I have not been capable of kiting for 4 weeks. Afterwards it has still been hurting while ki...

Hi, I can also recommend you to get a smaller board. I am riding since 3 years now, but not really often (job), so I am by far not an expert, but 2003 I started to use a smaller board (Takoon Olry 154 (144)), which is really small for my 90kg, and I wouldn't use big boards again. Not only can you ho...
