Re: Feedback on Cabrinha's 2018 TrimLite bars

Hi! I'm changing my '16 drifter for a '18 drifter soon as it's quite abused, and was wondering if I should get a '16 bar or '18 bar for it. I normally change my bar every year for peace of mind (and so I have a bar to sell with an older kite), but on 2017 I just bought the 2016 again (TrimLite, fix...

Re: Hard shell harnesses comparison

Hi there Anyone had a chance to try and compare Ride Engine with Dakine C1 and Mystic Majestic X ? Aloha I have had quite a bit of time using the Ride Engine Carbon and the Dakine C-1 . Recently I have had the opportunity to try the Mystic Majestic X as well. The Dakine C-1 is very comfortable with...

Re: Small vs large foil board

I have had the opportunity the year to try some of the newer large area wings from Levitaz(Cruzier) Shinn(P Foil) and the Takuma foil. These wings have changed my perspective on LW riding. Previously I had an Aquera 160 Allround Board then switched to the 155 Pro Race. I thought these volume style b...

Re: Hydrofoil board for beginner, cheaper VS expensive

Hi All guys! I have read 3/4 discussion about beginner foil request before posting I have read more than a time that cheaper beginner hydrofoil boards could discourage foiling and most experienced (and expensive) brands are a better choice What are the best for beginner but good for progression HF ...

Re: Cabrinha Fireball vs slider rope.

Bartolo, you are very welcome. My first experience with a rope slider system was with a Dynabar. Personally, I did not like it. My experience with it was like yours. The two sliders i use currently are the Ride Engine and I use the Dakine Option Spreader bar with the Dakine C-1. I use the Dakine Hoo...

Re: Cabrinha Fireball vs slider rope.

Anybody has experience with the fireball compared to a slider rope bar? Is it similar as good for strapless toeside riding as a slider rope bar? I have a Prolimit Vapor hardshell harness and defintely need something other than a fixed hook for waveriding so the harness can stay in its fixed positio...

Re: DSD Stallion 5'4 - anyone rode it?

I have used my V1 Stallion 5'4" and 5'0" since April and both boards are in excellent condition! Some very minor dimples on the 5'4", nothing like the pic of that board. We have sold lots of Stallions and no issues. Without a doubt the best kite surfboard I have used.

Re: Anyone try the 2018 Drifter

The Bar pressure is medium. Great feed back from the kite. I have not used a North EVO so I can't compare. Recent kites I've used, Ocean Rodeo Flite (lighter BP) Slingshot SST Wave (medium BP), Airush Ultra (lighter BP). If you can try to demo a 2018 Drifter , I'm sure you'll be impressed.

Re: Anyone try the 2018 Drifter

?????How's the bar pressure, turning speed, and low end? sizes 9m/11m. Thanks in advance :thumb: I have been using the 2018 Cabrinha Drifter since early July. I have 12/9/7m . The most noticeable change from the previous 2017 model is the faster turning speed. To me, the low end and bar pressure se...
