Re: Do you disassemble your foilboard after each use?

Soaked it in penetrating oil for 2 weeks and still a no go.Stripped out the recessed allen bolt heads.Ill weld a couple of nuts t...

I'm not sure how woo determined he was cheating the device. Why couldn't it just be broken?
There's a hidden camera inside of the woo. They saw him eating Mexican food at an all you can eat buffet the day of his epic jumps. :shit:

Re: 30.4m Jump on Woo? Now 30.7m!!

I think for most people its a measuring device independent on its accuracy . For yourself its a nice way to measure progress and as it is the same device the error of measure doesnt mather either. I have no problem with woo but your reasoning here is not helping the cause lol! :o If I applied that ...

Re: 30.4m Jump on Woo?

I'd swear that in my area all the claimed jumps should read in feet rather than meters ! Maybe a software glitch ?

Re: Kiteboarding since 1995 what do you see next for sport?

What's with the persistent hate of Foil kites? I should publish my own article. "Ram air effect in Tube kites". Just to fuc.k with your heads. I don't understand the hate either.I can sit here and seriouly contemplate on why I feel the way I do and can not come up with any conclusions. For some reas...

I just don't get the resistance to seats. They work better, give you much better support , less chance of rib injuries, and a far more comfortable IMO.
The lower center of pull is not conducive to my style.Loved the seat for old school tricks back in the early 2000's.Maybe I'll try one again.

Re: Holes in aluminum mast

Thats quite the "lever"! So it looks like the further you get from the wing the stress increases. I've got the ss masts, maybe I'll sacrifice one for the sake of science! Maybe fill the holes with the lightest foam hmmmm If you can't calculate moments you won't understand much of your experiments. T...
