Re: Ski boot bindings placement

Here is the rough settings which is what I have gone by in the past.

I was wondering if there are different ideas because of the different situation of kiting VS downhill.

Ski boot bindings placement

I have just got some used 150 skis with the bindings set for a smaller foot. I want to open them for my boots. With the rear part set all the way back, I am about an inch too short, so should I remove the front part and put it ahead 1" ? Or spread the front forward 1/2" and the rear back 1/2" ? What...

Re: Leash suggestions?

Hi Pete,

Never really counted, but there is much more than a few that use them.

Thanks everybody.

Re: Selfmade trackerfins wonder if they will hold

Why not glass the outside? The aluminum leading edge is a great idea! To improve on that get aluminum that has a spine behind it that you could insert into the LE so it has more area to hold it. I used to make skegs for my olddddddd Bic windsurfer out of just wood like yours. They always lasted and ...

Re: Footpad holders

All good points everyone. I hadn't thought about the depth issue. That narrows down what extrusions would be best.

Sealing it could be a potential issue

Re: Footpad holders

Thanks BWD,

I was thinking it would be a lot less futzing around than messing with the bolting and nuts that I am using now and allow ease of adjustment at the beach.
