WindGuru is great. It is pretty accurate as far as the ups and downs throughout the week but the numbers are always under the actual wind speeds. You normally have to add 5 to 10 especially if the wind direction is out of the east. I tell people to bring your full quiver to make sure you are covered...

The bolts only pull from the center lines giving them super super super super light bar feel...meaning you can't get real feedback from the kite. Get a Cabrinha Switchblade (super super super super super STABLE) with nice bar feel so you can tell where your kite is without having to look.

Ha, an "anti-stiction" mesh hole in the side of the kite to help the friggen thing relaunch... Yes really, a mesh hole that lets water drain out of the wingtip...
