Re: New High Jump French Record - 24m

Drone is a good idea. Plant the drone at about 15 meters, so it's just below the kite, then have the kiter jump up past the drone, and have the drone track the kiter as he goes past. I think that might do it. looking forward to see that video!!! YEP -- that would work just fine ,edt !! :thumb: A ch...

Welcome to KF !!! :thumb: I would only talk to the guys that are in your aria, that you will be kiting with ; their the only people that know what conditions you'll be riding in , with your weight. Another thing to get NEW , is the lines that attach the bar to the kite. Before you buy used ; do a K...

Re: Tips for learning to kite with a prosthetic leg.

... We are in cold water so we are using a 5/3 full suit. With the leg rolled up just above the knee of the prosthetic. This has an added bonus that it could keep the leg in place if it somehow comes loose. There is still water coming in between his stump and the prosthetic. Can liners help with th...

I mean you have some scenarios. 1. broken stearing line - it seems that what can happen only kite loops, flying without control . ... IF you have a Low-Y front-line system, and a back-line breaks ; YES you can steer the k...

The foil pulls the vessel INTO the water.
Because the sail is pulling it up, and down-wind , (a bit like a kite) ; so
i would think that same theory would work with a kite ?

And can someone tell me why that board he used is so fast ?
